Dr. Mudassar Latif is a dual-trained specialist with a unique but vital combination of Rheumatology and Geriatrics. He has extensive experience in public and private health care and has worked in metropolitan and regional areas. This experience has given him the expertise to assess and reasonably manage complex conditions relating to his specialities. His dual specialisation is also helpful for the elderly population with Rheumatological issues. Moreover, being an overseas trained doctor, Dr Latif comes with multilinguistic skills and understands cultural differences in health care.
Dr. Latif completed his geriatrics training from Perth and Rheumatology training in a highly competitive QLD training pathway in 2021. Dr Latif’s specialist experience includes Staff Specialist Rheumatologist at the Townsville University Hospital and Mackay Base Hospital and Specialist Geriatrician at the Manning Base Hospital.
Dr. Latif is already seeing patients of Rheumatology and Geriatrics at Redlands Specialist Centre, but he will now be available locally at the QGOS too. Dr Latif also offers telehealth care to stable follow-up patients as clinically appropriate.
